Rachel started printing in 2018, drawing inspiration from the natural world and the internal and external landscapes of her environment. She has been painting for a lot longer, starting with huge theatre backdrops for local amateur dramatic groups since teenagerhood, it's only in recent years she has dedicated her time to her own work; painting local landscapes and still life primarily, often incorporating elements of her printmaking in mixed media works.

In her printmaking, Rachel creates mostly lino cut prints producing lively, colourful sea creatures, trees, bugs and more abstract patterns.
